Customer support person

We have an opening for a customer support person in a full time position. You will be involved with installation and support of TempServ , our web based temporary staffing package in use by our customers in all parts of the US. You will be the major public face of Greenfield to our customers; good communication skills are critical.
Although this is not initially a programming position it does require a willingness and apptitude to learn and use technologies such as tcp/ip, Windows networking and SQL. If you'd like to learn Java programming (or grow your skills) we will provide training tools and time to learn. In today's heterogeneous computing environment you'll have the opportunity to work with many systems including the IBM iSeries (AS/400), Windows and Linux.

Greenfield provides our customers with state of the art technology and makes it look easy. Our employees have to be comfortable with change and always willing to learn new technologies. This may require some study on your own time but the effort will be rewarded.
Our offices are located in Durham N.C. Standard office hours are 8:30 to 5 with a lunch hour. Although our base work week is less than 40 hours you may have to put in some occasional overtime to complete a project on time.
